ITINERARY SNAPSHOT

Day 1

Arrival at Pelling

(138 km / 5–6 hrs from NJP/IXB)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), you’ll be welcomed by our representative and driven to Pelling, a tranquil town nestled in the lap of the Himalayas.

After check-in, relax and enjoy the scenic beauty around. In the evening, feel free to explore the calm town at your own pace.

 

Overnight Stay: Pelling

Day 2

Pelling Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour around Pelling, covering:

  • Sidkeong Tulku Bird Park: Home to native Himalayan birds, this quiet refuge is perfect for nature walks and bird photography.

  • Rabdentse Ruins: Remnants of Sikkim’s royal past with stone structures, forest trails, and sweeping valley views.

  • Pemayangtse Monastery: One of Sikkim’s oldest monasteries, showcasing ancient Buddhist murals and spiritual artifacts.

  • Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk: A towering statue with a glass-bottom skywalk offering thrilling views and spiritual vibes.

  • Rimbi Waterfalls: A refreshing natural cascade where you can enjoy a peaceful scenic stop.

  • Rimbi Orange Garden: A lovely orchard with orange trees, picnic spots, and riverside serenity.

  • Khecheopalri Lake: Sacred, wish-fulfilling lake believed to be protected by divine forces—spotless despite the surrounding forest.

Lunch will be scheduled based on the sightseeing plan. Return to the hotel by evening.

Day 3

Pelling to Namchi via Ravangla

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Namchi, stopping at these iconic sites:

  • Buddha Park / Tathagata Tsal (Ravangla): Features a 130-ft golden Buddha statue, calm surroundings, and wide-angle views of the Eastern Himalayas.

  • Temi Tea Garden: Sikkim’s only tea estate—rolling hills, fresh air, and a chance to sip organic tea at its source.

  • Samdruptse Hill: Offers spiritual vibes and valley panoramas, crowned with a colossal 135-ft statue of Guru Padmasambhava.

  • Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham): Grand replicas of four sacred pilgrimage sites with temples, gardens, and a majestic Shiva statue.

  • Golden Sai Temple: Glowing golden dome amidst peaceful surroundings, ideal for short prayers and tranquil moments.

 

Arrive in Namchi and check into your hotel. Evening is free for leisure.

Overnight Stay: Namchi

Day 4

Namchi to NJP/IXB

(114 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast:

  • Check out from your hotel.

  • Begin your return journey to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).

  • Stop for quick snaps or tea breaks along the way, depending on time.
